Abstract:
Zoning map amendment from M-l (limited industrial) to M-2 (light industrial). The site has a MIX (mixed use) comprehensive plan designation, which allows commercial and light industrial zones/uses. The M-2 zone has the same development standards as the M-l zone, so the buildings under construction will not become nonconforming. The M-2 zone allows a wider range of uses than the M-l zone, including some slightly heavier industrial uses, but will still be compatible with the surrounding uses.
