Proposes to salvage up to 6.3 MMBF annually of dead, dying, damaged, and wind thrown timber before it loses commercial value, provide forest products that would help maintain the stability of local and regional economies, reduce buildup of hazardous forest fuels.

The Klamath Falls Resource Area includes approximately 215,000 BLM administered acres within Klamath County (see Map 1). The Roaming Salvage II EA analysis area includes all forested BLM lands within the KFRA. There are approximately 47,650 acres of forested BLM lands west of Klamath Falls and approximately 21,440 acres of forested land east of Klamath Falls.
