Zusammenfassung
Albany is required to comply with NPDES permits for discharge of wastewater and some stormwater
discharges, and must develop strategies to reduce TMDL pollutants associated with these permitted
discharges. The City operates a single wastewater treatment plant that releases treated effluent into the
Willamette River at river mile 118.4 under an NPDES permit issued by DEQ. The City also has two
sites that are covered under the NPDES 1200-Z stormwater permit. At this time, Albany does not have an
NPDES permit for municipal stormwater management. [From the Plan]
