For the purposes of this research cultural mapping is the process of identifying and stating, in a written or visual inventory, all cultural assets within a specific geographic area. However, this tool is often overlooked in the research and strategies for producing an effective map have only recently become part of the field. The purpose of this study was to take a deeper look at the process of cultural mapping.
