The area includes major portions of Charlton and Browns subwatersheds with smaller segments in Dilman, Fall, Snow and Wickiup. The analysis is called Charlie Brown for the largest subwatersheds. Captured May 22, 2007.Proposes to respond to problematic conditions in the area surrounding Crane Prairie and Wickiup Reservoirs such as high stand densities, insect and disease infestations, and shifts in species compositions within the dry forest types, as well as to problems from recreational activities such as dispersed camping that cause loss of vegetation, soil compaction, erosions, and inappropriate disposal of human waste. Actions include commercial thinning, dwarf mistletoe removal, salvage harvesting on diseased and insect-damaged trees on 230 acres, mechanical treatment of shrubs and prescribed fire to reduce risk of wildfire.
