Department of Land Conservation and Development Notice of Adopted AmendmentThe City of Port Orford has adopted a new Battle Rock Mixed Use Zone (10-MU) for the southern portion of the City to replace portions of the Commercial mixed use (4-C) zone that was in effect. The new zone removes heavy industrial uses, and provides design and landscaping standards for new structures. The new zone has been incorporated into the City's existing sign code. Adopted new definitions include new terminology to accommodate the zone, and also definitions to accommodate changes that were made to comply with state law. The map amendment defines the area for the zone change.
