This document is a conceptual tool that provides some general insight into the need for the proposed trail system, trail siting opportunities, factors that influenced mapping and project prioritization, and funding strategies. The purpose of engaging in this preliminary planning process is to raise awareness about the vision and to create a conceptual framework that will help facilitate the development of partnerships. In addition, it will place the City of Veneta in a better position to obtain grant funding and other forms of assistance as those opportunities arise.
