This capstone research explores and unpacks these habits to broaden the conversation of diversity in the art institution and the institution’s constituents. The first public touch-to-touch action indication that the establishment wishes to create an open dialogue and relationship with any community is their marketing plan and strategy. This study explores the question of how visual arts museums can use marketing to begin the conversation of inclusion with diverse audiences.
