Since that time, there has been significant growth in West Linn and its surrounding communities, and a few key changes to state highway facility plans in the area. The primary purpose of this update is to address these changes, with focus on: addressing how regional traffic diversion on Interstate 205 affects city street circulation and related access to the Willamette neighborhood area; incorporating Highway 43 Concept Design Plan to serve long-term transportation needs for all travel modes; confirm that the plan is consist with latest Statewide Plans and Policies; ensuring that the high priority system improvements can be funded through existing transportation programs.
