This report reviews this patient 's history and experiences in psychotherapy. It is important to consider the possibility that the patient who presents with the features of a gender identity disorder may have a concomitant dissociative disorder. It is highly questionable whether a patient with both types of disorder should receive sexual reassignment surgery until the dissociative disorder has been treated to a successful resolution.467470 bytesapplication/pdfen-USDissociation : Vol. 1, No. 2, p. 048-051 : A Case Of Concurrent Multiple Personality Disorder And TranssexualismA Case Of Concurrent Multiple Personality Disorder And TranssexualismArticle
