This project seeks to help address that gap through descriptive research by 1) describing the public participation and community engagement activities of two active, US-based contemporary feminist art programs; 2) reading these programs’ public participation and community engagement strategies vis à vis new research on emergent trends in arts participation; and 3) assessing potential impact of that research on current or future programs that seek to advance art and feminism.
