Adopted October 13, 2005; captured July 31, 2006.The Wildfire Planning Executive Committee (WFPEC) began meeting in June of 2004 to facilitate the development of the CCWPP [Clackamas County Wilfire Protection Plan].... The WFPEC has developed the mission statement and objectives for the CCWPP and is concentrating efforts on five major areas: Risk Assessment, Structural Ignitability, Emergency Operations, Fuels Reduction and Biomass Utilization, and Public Outreach. The CCWPP updates (and replaces) “Chapter 7: Wildfire” of the Clackamas County Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan, which also identifies mitigation strategies for floods, landslides, wind and winter storms, earthquakes, and volcanoes. The activities identified in the CCWPP are in accordance with the multi-hazard mitigation planning goals outlined in the County’s Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan.
