With continued economic growth and OCC expansion, hotel occupancy rates will climb back above the 70 percent range by mid-decade. A convention hotel in the Lloyd District should be considered after the average annual occupancy rate has climbed back into the low- to mid-70 percent range, and that is not expected until a couple years after completion of the OCC expansion.
