Includes maps and figures. Adopted November 13, 2002; published December 20, 2002. Captured October 26, 2007.The adopted plan seeks to complete the development of the South Waterfront by infusing the district with a rich mix of urban-scale offices, housing, hotels, parks and retail uses in this riverfront district. The area will be served by a multimodal transportation system and may serve as a transit hub for south downtown. Redevelopment in the district is meant to serve as a catalyst for the creation of a larger science and technology-based economy in the Central City and is meant to embrace the presence of the river, contributing to its health and enjoyment.
