The district is called "Chorrillo" and it had a population of 27,375 inhabitants in 1950, at a density of 500 people her Hectare. The solution to proposed dwells only 20,000 at its maximum occupancy, at a density of 410 people per Hectare. To rehabilitate this sector is was necessary to make a general study of the whole city, based in the studies made in 1941 by Mr. Karl Brunner and in the information gathered by the Bank of Urbanism in Panama.
