The Bell Mountain Commercial Thinning and Density Management will occur on four scattered units (approximately 151 acres) of 47 to 54 year-old second-growth forest located in the Elk Creek/Upper Umpqua Fifth-Field Watershed in Sections 14, 23, and 27; T22S, R07W; W.M. Within these 151 acres, approximately two acres will be removed for the development of temporary spur roads. Bell Mountain will provide approximately 2.5 MMBF of merchantable timber available for auction.
