The text document included in this digital portfolio dissertation explains, analyzes, and discusses the design and implementation of data-driven instruments, the musical challenges and opportunities provided by data-driven instruments, the performance techniques employed,the sound synthesis techniques used, and the data-mapping strategies used for each of the seven compositions.
