A thesis presented to the Department of Psychology and the Clark Honors College of the University of Oregon in partial fulfillment of the requirements for degree of Bachelor of Arts, Fall 2016.The author designed and piloted a five week course with the intention of promoting Latina attendance at Ophelia's Place, a Eugene-based non-profit. The theme of the class was identity: the first two weeks were concerned with defining the concept and the proceeding weeks' themes were ethnicity, gender, and language identity respectively. The class was open for up to ten girls aged ten to eighteen.
