Captured August 3, 2006.The Lane County Rural Comprehensive Plan applies to all unincorporated lands within the County beyond the Urban Growth Boundaries of incorporated cities in the County and beyond the boundary of the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area Plan. Where these lands are beyond County jurisdiction (such as National Forest lands), the Plan applies but its application is regulated by federal law. In addition, it does contain provisions and representations of County positions on various issues, to be used by those agencies, such as the US Forest Service, in their own management actions, and also used in the event that lands not in County jurisdiction enter County jurisdiction.
