By that date the city intends to implement the Nyssa 2003 Main Street Revitalization Plan as an important step toward creating a downtown environment that embraces a community dynamic between historic tradition and emerging opportunities. In order to provide that environment, four goals were established for the plan: provide an attractive Main Street atmosphere for existing and new businesses; create a multiple use Main Street; establish community identity and community pride; provide a focus for efforts to secure funding.
