But what does that mean? In this paper, I will examine Wittgenstein’s treatment of metaphysical questions. I will argue that he sees philosophers’ attempts to answer these questions as a misuse of language, and that by uncovering the nature of language, Wittgenstein hopes to resolve this philosophical confusion.
