Categorically excludes action covering the bitterbrush and mountain mahogany planting to provide future deer forage and wildlife habitat by reestablishing the shrub community. Includes using hand tools to plant the seedlings and surrounding them with protective tubes, and removing western juniper.

Bonanza View Dairy DeJong direct land sale, environmental assessment and finding of no significant impact

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has negotiated with Bonanza View Dairy for several years and had requested an exclusive easement to access 1200 acres of BLM administered lands. During the negotiations and surveys, it was discovered Mr. DeJong had trespassed on two small parcels of adjoining BLM lands. It was agreed we would sell Mr. DeJong those two lots and use of an irrigation ditch as a negotiated trade for the Easement that was proposed.

Bonanza View fuels treatment plan conformance and categorical exclusion determination

Categorically excludes action to reduce hazardous fuels and the associated risk of wildfire and to improve rangeland habitat for a variety of values by cutting, piling and burning invasive western juniper on 736 acres. Includes hand felling with chainsaws on approximately 223 acres, and felling and piling with a mechanical shearer on 514 acres.

Categorically excludes plan to allow Florida corporation to install towers at four test sites in Klamath Falls Resource Area to evaluate the strengths of winds on Bryant Mountain. Includes constructing 60-meter towers of galvanized steel tubing resting on nine square feet steel base plates, and supported with aircraft cable guy wires in four directions at each guy level.

The fence would be approximately three miles long, and a small fence surrounding the trough and waterhole at the south east corner of the south pasture would also be constructed.
