This plan has been developed using a comprehensive process prescribed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to identify housing, homeless, community, and economic development needs and resources and then formulate a fi ve-year plan to address identified needs. It helps the community to defi ne housing and community development priorities and determine whether these priorities are being met. The objectives of the IAMP are to protect the function of the interchange to serve long-distance regional trips, to provide safe and efficient operations on US 26 (Sunset Highway) and Jackson School Road, and to ensure ODOT is involved in future land use decisions that could affect the function of the interchange.
