This category includes housing needs assessments, residential lands inventories, ten-year plans to end homelessness, and consolidated plans; as well as other miscellaneous housing-related reports. A consolidated plan is a document written by a State or local government describing the housing needs of the low- and moderate-income residents, outlining strategies to meet the needs, and listing all resources available to implement the strategies. This document is required to receive HUD Community Planning and Development funds, including funding under the Community Development Block Grants program. Plans normally cover a planning period of five years, are updated annually, and must include residential input.
