    This document sets forth a plan to restore and maintain habitat for chinook salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) and, potentially, other salmonid fish in Wallowa County, Oregon.     The basic goal of the study is to provide an environmental protection plan for the Wallowa Lake Basin. This will be facilitated through three general tasks: 1. Development of a land use plan, 2. Development of a water and sewerage facilities plan, and 3. Review of existing zoning policies as they would be affected by the land use plan. The study area was defined as Wallowa Lake, the City of Joseph and their environs within an approximate two-mile range.
