The final conceptual design strikes a balance between enhancing multi-modal opportunities, accommodating regional needs, providing an arterial street function, and supporting adjacent land uses within the City of West Linn. To meet these charges, the project considered roadway features such as pedestrian crossings, street trees, landscaping, transit stops, and lighting to better support the needs of all roadway users (as well as adjacent land uses). The mitigation plan provides a list of activities that may assist the City of West Linn in reducing risk and preventing loss from future natural hazard events. West Linn has developed this plan as an addendum to the multi-jurisdictional Clackamas County Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan. This included a review of existing survey data which had been collected by the Winterbrook Team(2002-2003), field work including the recording basic architectural information for 111 properties in two survey areas, a preliminary eligibility assessment and a photograph of each property in the survey area, and the preparation of data for entry into the SHPO database.... West Linn’s current Comprehensive Plan, local Ordinance and IGA with Clackamas County Historic Review Board (CCHRB) is consistent with the purposes of the National Historic Preservation Act, as well as applicable state legislation and other local ordinances affecting historic properties in Oregon. The City of West Linn satisfies the criteria for becoming a Certified Local Government.
