They include two components: a zoning ordinance and a subdivision ordinance, which may be adopted and published as separate documents under their own titles. In some cases the sections pertaining to subdivision of land may be included in the zoning ordinance.Item Open Access Vale : Downtown plan(City of Vale (Or.), 2001-06-10) Vale (Or.); TriLand Design GroupThe primary objective of the Vale Downtown Master Plan is to develop a schematic "main street" plan for Vale's downtown highway facilities. In 1998 the Oregon Transportation commission approved two projects in the downtown Vale area, totaling $5,360,000. The Projects are intended to improve the pavement condition and safety on both couplets through Vale and construct pedestrian facilities to include curbs, walks, and gutters on both Highway 20 couplets (Washington Street and "A" Street). In addition, The City of Vale applied for and was awarded a $800,000 grant to add decorative lighting and other features to the downtown historic district. These improvements are planned to be constructed in 2002.
