University of Oregon Yearbooks (Oregana)

Permanent URI for this collection

This collection contains digitized copies of the University of Oregon yearbooks, edited initially by the junior class (1902-1916) and later by the Associated Students (1915/1916-1980).

The first yearbooks, dated 1902, 1903, and 1905, were published under the title of The Webfoot. The volumes for 1907 and 1908 were published as Bulletin: a Class Book. In 1909, the title of the yearbook became The Beaver, before changing again in 1910 to Oregana, the title it would retain until its cessation in 1980.

Volumes with dates ranging from 1902 to 1916 reflect the expected graduation year of the junior class (e.g., 1902 covers academic year 1900/1901). For all subsequent volumes, the date reflects the academic year of publication. No volumes of The Webfoot were published during academic years 1903 and 1904, and no volumes of Oregana were published during the period covering academic years 1970 to 1974.

Print copies are available through the UO Libraries under the call numbers: KNIGHT LD4368.O7 and SCUA REF. LD4368.O7.
