The plan will assist the county, its communities and fire districts in securing National Fire Plan grants and other funding sources to treat hazardous fuel situations and to better prepare residents for wildfires that may occur. It includes a strategy with action projects which, when implemented, will decrease the potential for large wildfires in the county and reduce the potential loss of property values and threat to human life.
