Abstract

EA proposes to thin 1400 acres of 30-70 year old forest stands consisting primarily of conifer plantations within the Matrix and Riparian Reserves land-use allocations in the Fifth Field Watershed of the Middle Fork of the Coquille River. Includes new road construction, road renovation, improvement and maintenance, and road decommissioning. FONSI eliminates need for an EIS.
