dc.description.abstractImposes a development restriction if excessive tree removal occurs prior to approval of a development application. Applies inside the Portland Metropolitan Urban Growth Boundary only. Exempts property specially assessed as forestland. Development restriction prohibits approval of design review, conditional uses, and land divisions for the five-year period following excessive tree removal. Excessive tree removal is defined as the removal of more than three trees in a calendar year, with no limit on the number of exempt trees that may be removed. Exempts trees such as those less than 6" d.b.h., diseased, hazardous, nuisance, etc.en_US
