dc.description.abstractThis paper presents the author's experience with dissociative disorders and dissociative symptoms among 125 patients seen for ongoing pharmacologic treatment at a community mental health center. Eleven were found to have a diagnosable dissociative disorder, and 16 others to have marked dissociative symptoms. The nature of the dissociative symptoms is discussed, as are the implications of these findings, should they prove replicable.en
