Abstract

Proposes to close up to 23 miles of roads in the Echo, Staley, Simpson, and Noisy Creek drainages within the Upper Middle Fork watershed to motorized traffic, and place about 21 miles of these roads into maintenance storage condition for 10 or more years. Also proposes to close up to 33 miles of road and two dispersed sites within the Middle Fork Willamette River, and Salmon Creek watersheds year-round or seasonally with boulders or gates to reduce illegal household trash dumping.
