Abstract
Announces decision to authorize the implementation of the Proposed Action Alternative as outlined in the EA. It involves the commercial thinning and density management harvest of second growth timber in the Calapooya Watershed. Harvest activities will occur on 358 acres and harvest approximately 5300 MBF of timber. The project will consist of 197 acres of cable yarding, 70 acres of ground-based yarding, 85 acres of helicopter yarding and six acres of right-of-way cutting.
A total of 6520 ft. (1.2 mi.) of temporary road (seeded and mulched then blocked from use) will be constructed.
