dc.description.abstractThis paper describes the logic testing for an expert system module that looks at an inprocess CAD drawing, identifies the plan type and recommends an alternative plan that is consistent with the designer's preferences, but has better energy performance. The knowledge base was developed in the form of a morphological matrix. The rationale, construction and testing of this knowledge base is described.en_US
