| dc.description.abstract | The Bureau of Land Management proposes to conduct three different projects in the Middle and Upper Tualatin River subwatersheds on federal lands in the Adaptive Management Area, Late Successional Reserve and Riparian Reserve land use allocations. The first project is a commercial density management thinning of approximately 906 acres that would also build about 4.0 miles of new temporary roads, renovate about 5.6 miles of existing roads and decommission about 6.6 miles of existing roads. The second project is a fish habitat restoration project in Roaring Creek that would use large wood to increase channel complexity in 1.1 miles of stream and also decommission approximately 1.4 miles of existing road. The third project is a wildlife habitat enhancement treatment on approximately 323 acres. | en |
