Abstract

Economic development in Lincoln County is activity that supports, enhances, or diversifies our county’s economy. This includes: offering a quality "product" attractive to new businesses (sites, amenities, workforce, infrastructure, etc.); business recruitment (particularly businesses that offer wages equivalent to or greater than the average wage in the county); nurturing of new businesses; the retention and expansion of existing businesses; sound planning for future development.This revised plan is limited to goals and projects that meet the definition of economic development.
