A is a piece of indeterminate digital music which adapts in real time to user inputs. I used an audio engine called FMOD Studio to arrange my original music into a structure which randomizes some elements of the piece and links others to user-configurable parameters. In this paper I explain the inner workings of ADAPTASIA and the user interface that I created. This thesis also includes a discussion of how ADAPTASIA relates to acoustic improvisation and indeterminate music, a brief overview of the current state of adaptive music in video games, and my reflections on the project.en_US
