Abstract

Provides analysis focusing on the three basic domains (physical, biological, and social), while following the federally-mandated six-step analysis process. This includes watershed characterization, issues and key questions, description of current conditions, description of historic reference conditions, synthesis and interpretation of differences and trends, and recommendations.

Description

The watershed is located on the eastern slope of the Cascade Mountain range, in the southern half of the Sisters Ranger District, approximately 20 miles west of Bend along Highway 20, which bisects the northern third of the area. The City of Sisters and housing developments such as Black Butte Ranch, Indian Ford, Tollgate, and Cascade Meadow Ranch are within the analysis area. Captured May 15, 2007.
