dc.description.abstract | Announces decision to implement Alternative 4 of project EA, harvesting 706 acres, including 563 acres of thinning and 143 acres of regeneration harvest to be done later. This alternative will reduce the stand diversity index (SDI) levels to 20% to 30% of maximum, with heavy thinning of 513 acres leaving approximately 45 to 65 trees per acre. Some 2050 feet of temporary roads will be built, with 7.76 miles of road closures, and 26.8 miles of reconstruction. | en |
