dc.description.abstractDLCD awarded the City of John Day a planning grant for an update to the City's Development code. The grant also supports revisions to the City of John Day-Grant County Urban Growth Management Agreement (UGMA). The purpose of the updates is as follows: 1) Achieve consistency with changes in State law and administrative rules approved since 2005. 2) Resolve the City's identified permit problems/desires based on past years of development permit processing. 3) Codify results of past years of planning grant projects. 4) Achieve increased efficiency in permitting within the bounds of State law.en_US
