Abstract

Announces decision to implement 12 miles of hazard tree removal on main roads within the Davis Fire area, including selected major roads within and along the perimeter. Includes felling all dead trees over 6 inches in diameter, assessing other unstable trees, selling some of them as commercial timber, and undertaking noxious weed prevention measures during implementation.

Description

5 pp. Map, appendix. Hazard tree removal will occur on the following roads: 44, 46, 4660, 4669, 4600850, 62, 6220, and 6224, and is generally limited to the high and moderate intensity burn area. Refer to the attached map (below) for a display of the road locations. Trees would be removed along portions of approximately 12 miles of road. Captured June 28, 2007.
