dc.description.abstractThe purpose and need of the proposed action is to remove an estimated 160 horses from the Three Fingers HMA to attain a thriving ecological balance between horses, wildlife, livestock, and vegetation. It will also allow for fertility treatment of mares to slow estrus to aid in maintaining wild horse populations at appropriate management levels (AML) and extend the gather period required to maintain AML.en
