dc.description.abstract | This document summarizes the work produced for Jean von Bargen's Architectural Programming Class for Fall 2009. The goal of the class was to develop a comprehensive program for a new Gresham City Hall as well as the city's Fire and Police Departments. This was achieved by the use of a variety of research methods, including: quantitative research, qualitative research, interviews and analysis. Project 2 contains adjacency diagrams, area and value charts as well as precedent studies for the City Attorney's Office and the Gresham's Police Department. Project 3 contains the thesis statement, scaled diagrams for the entire City Hall as well further precedent images. Project 4 contains the purpose statement, site analysis, floor plans for a new Gresham City Hall, Fire and Police Departments, massing studies as well as energy studies. | en_US |
