Abstract

Proposes installation of a new fiber optic line, primarily on existing poles, within the existing right-of-way for the Central Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CEC) power transmission line. Designed to complement the earlier phase in providing broadband access to rural areas while causing the least ground disturbances, the project includes manually hanging fiber cable on 18 miles of existing CEC overhead poles with brackets, replacing two decaying wooden poles, and supplying weed-free grass and herb seed with which to cover replacement pole locations.

Description

35 pp. Maps, table, references. The fiber optic project begins in T. 11 S., R. 14 E., and ends at the T13S/T14S boundary. Captured May 30, 2007.
