We request that manuscripts be submitted on an mM MS-DOS or an Apple Macintosh disk. If this is not possible, please 
submit fo ur comple te and clearly legible double-spaced copies of the entire ma nuscript. Because the manuscripts will be 
optically scanned ror computerized handling, please refer to the printer guidelines ror your specifications on the fo llowing 
page. The title page, abstract, reference list, and any footnotes, tables, and figures must be on separate pages. Please do not 
place author idelllifications anywhere else besides the title page. Last minute copy corrections need to be made with a "non?
repro~ blue pen or pencil, so as to not interfere with the scanning process. 
All authors must. sign a letter assigning the copyright ownership of the article to DISSOCIATIVE DISORDERS 
REASEARCH PUBLICATIONS LIMITED, contingent upon its acceptance. 
The following guidelines apply to all submissions. 
1. The tide page should include the title of the article, the name(s) of the author(s), the academic or institutional affiliation 
of the author(s), the runn ing head (or abbreviated title), and the !lame and address for reprints. Authors without academic 
or institutional affiJialions should list instead !.he city and state in which they practice. 
2. The abstract should be a brief summary of the article. It should be accurate, succinct, quickly comprehensi ble, and 
infonnative. It mUSt not exceed 150 words. 
3. The textshould introduce the article's purpose and include a brief review ofthe relevant li terature. describe ilS me thods 
and subjeclS, indicate ilS results, and o lTer a discussion in which isconclusiOlls are stated. An auth o r who would like to submit 
an article (other than a case study) that diffe rs considerably from this structure should contact the Editor-in-Ch iefto discuss 
the proposed submissio n. The text may require several levels of headings. An should be typed in upper and lower case Icuers 
(e.g. , The NeuropsychophysiologyofDissociations) . The first level of headings shou ld be ce ntered, but not underlined. The 
second level should begin at the left margin and be underlined. The third leve l should be indented from the left margin and 
underlined. f or more complex sub-heading formats, consult the Publication Mmlual of the Ammcan Ps)'chological Associntioll. 
4. Referen ces within the text should be made in the author-date format. Use the names of either one or t\','0 authors on each 
occasion. When there are more than two authors, usc all in the first citations, and the surname of the first author followed 
by ~et al~ subsequen lly. When there arc six or more authors, use the surname of the first author followed by ~et al~ on all 
occasions. For citations in parentheses, use an ampersand (&) before the name of the last author listed. All quotations cited 
must include page numbers. 
5. References within the reference list are restricted to those cited in the text. They should be listed in alphabetical order 
on a separate page, headed References. The authors' names are given surname first, followed by the initials. Place an am?
persand (&) before the last author's name. The names are followed by the publication date in parentheses, followed by a 
period . The titJe (and the volume number, when relevant) is italicized (underlined, if italics unavailable) , then list the page 
numbers. Use "pp." before the page numbers of publications other than scientific journal articles.
