Abstract:
In response to our 2009 “Good to Great” survey that identified the #1 misalignments between the ESD and school districts as communication and decision-making practices, the goal in this plan is: By 10/ 2009 the ESD will develop and implement a proactive decision-making protocol, based on student needs and core values that 1) provides staff with clearly-defined guidelines on how decisions are made 2) outlines who will be involved in the process 3) how decisions will be communicated and 4) how the process will be assessed.
