Title: Dissociation : Vol. 5, No. 2, p. 104-108 : Psychodramatic treatment of multiple personality disorder and dissociative disorders
Author: Altman, Kerry Paul
Abstract: Psychodramatic group psychotherapy has been an integral part of an inpatient intensive treatment program for adult survivors of childhood abuse, many of whom are diagnosed with multiple personality disorder or a dissociative disorder. This paper presents a general introduction to the psychodramatic approach to treatment of this population. Some broad theoretical and methodological principles are presented, providing a framework for understanding two case examples.
