Abstract
This Waterfront Plan encompasses the east side of the South Umpqua River from Deer Creek Park on the north extending south to where Portland Avenue would extend across the River. The Plan provides a master plan which identifies future and long-term improvements intended to help revitalize the river front and connect the area with Downtown. There are six areas of focus that include public and private partnerships. The Plan identifies possible areas of redevelopment, access, and upgrades. This is a policy program document to be used to guide and review future projects in the area.
