Abstract
While perhaps moving toward different end goals, all of the artists portray the
issue of migration in their songs. In doing so, they have raised awareness to the dangers
involved in illegal migration to Europe, and the plight of Senegalese in the West. Some
of the artists use their songs to encourage the migrants, and praise them for their
strength and hard work.
